This was supposed to be a vlog, I was talking in my videos but everything was muffled so I just masked them with music and made it into a video slide.
So we went to NYC to renew my passport. I’m an immigrant so I had to do it in the nearest consulate. We only had 2 days and one day was dedicated to the passport renewal. We were late in buying a ticket for the Statue of Liberty tour so it was a bummer that we didn’t get to see it but we were able to walk around Time Square and tour around the City via the Top View Sightseeing bus! It was a wee bit pricey staying in NYC. 2 days in the center of Manhattan cost us around $300 in Uber rides, $800 in food, $100 in chocolates haha, $70 for the tour, $1300 in plane ticket and hotel accommodations and $30 on those photos with those costumed people. I was a little naive about it but apparently, you give them tips or donations for taking photos. They tell you $20 is enough so you give 1 of them the $20 then they leave so of course the other people will say where is ours?! I didn’t know it was like $20 per person. Good thing I only had $30 cash so I didn’t have much to give them. When they realized we didn’t have enough, they accepted the $10 and left us.
Well, special thanks to my in-laws for sponsoring our trip. We wouldn’t have made it without them lol and I would like to apologize for any typo and grammatical error. I didn’t triple check the video before finishing it.
